Adriana Reami Captures 100th Career Singles Win
ATLANTA, Ga. – The No. 8 NC State women's tennis team fell to No. 7 Texas in a hard-fought battle on Friday morning, 4-3. In the match, Adriana Reami became the first NC State women's tennis player to reach 100 career singles wins with a victory on court three over Adri Nagy. The senior has now won 10 consecutive singles matches.
NC State drops to 8-1 overall and 1-1 against top-10 opponents (No. 9 South Carolina). Texas moves to 3-0 on the season.
Trailing 3-2, Jaeda Daniel evened the match at three with a three-set win over Tijana Spasojevic, turning the attention to Lexi Keberle on court four. Keberle battled in three sets, but was unable to pull out a win as Texas captured the match, 4-3.
Daniel moved to 7-0 in dual season with her win on Friday.
The Pack's two ranked doubles duos captured the squad's ninth consecutive doubles point on the first two courts.
