RALEIGH, N.C. – The #5 NC State Wrestling team hits the road to close out its non-conference dual schedule, as the Wolfpack (8-0) will be at Drexel Friday night at 7 p.m. and then at Hofstra on Saturday at 4 p.m. Both duals will be stream, the Drexel dual on FloWrestling.com and the Hofstra dual on GoHofstra.com.

QUICK TAKEDOWNS
• NC State is off to an 8-0 start in 2019-20, and with two duals this weekend, the Pack is looking to start a season 10-0 for the third time over the last five seasons (10-0 in 2017-18, 21-0 in 2015-16).
• NC State has outscored its foes 249-62 (31.1 – 7.8) in the 8-0 start. The Pack has won 63 of its 80 (78.8%) individual dual matches, and 32 of those 63 wins have been for bonus points (50.8%).
• Over the last five seasons, NC State has won 21 of its 23 duals on the road. Combining neutral duals, NC State is 31-4 in duals outside of Raleigh dating back to 2015-16.

TOP-FIVE NATIONAL RANKING, 67 STRAIGHT POLLS IN TOP-10
The NC State wrestling team is ranked No. 5 nationally in this week's NWCA Coaches Poll, its highest ranking since Jan. of 2018. NC State was ranked #10 in this season's preseason poll, then #9 in each of the next four weeks. After wins at #15 Cornell and Binghamton, the Pack climbed to #7, and then to #6 for five straight polls. A 29-12 win over then-No. 12 Princeton brought the Pack to its current highest ranking of the season, #5 this week.

NC State has been ranked in the top-10 in the Coaches Poll for 67 straight polls dating back over five seasons, after having not been ranked in the top-10 at all since 1993.

SERIES vs. DREXEL
NC State and Drexel will be meeting for the second straight season, as last year the Pack used four bonus point wins to secure a 25-16 win over the visiting Dragons.

The all-time series dates back to 1998, with NC State holding a 4-2 lead. This dual will be NC State's third all-time trip to Drexel, the last was a 22-15 Wolfpack win in 2008.

SERIES vs. HOFSTRA
NC State and Hofstra will be meeting for the first time since 2016 and for only the fifth time in the history of the programs (series is tied 2-2). This will be only NC State's second trip to Hofstra, the first was a 31-6 Wolfpack loss in 2009.
