NC State Picks Up Two Ranked Wins on Final Day at Orlando Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 8 NC State women's tennis team earned two ranked singles wins on the final day of competition at the Orlando Invitational on Sunday. Senior Adriana Reami and junior Lexi Keberle defeated No. 93 Malkia Ngounoue (Kansas) and No. 63 Sonia Smagina (Kansas), respectively, to close out a strong performance for the Pack.
The win over Smagina marked Keberle's second ranked win of the tournament, as she defeated Rice's 86th-ranked Anastasia Smirnova on Friday in straight sets, giving her five ranked singles wins on the season.
Reami also tallied her fifth ranked singles win of the young season in the final day of action.
NC State went 2-1 in doubles, bringing its invitational record in the category to 5-4, and also posted a 4-2 record in singles on the day.
Over the course of the weekend, Keberle and Dylan Cannon had a perfect (3-0) record in singles.
