Pack Sprinters Conclude Competition at USATF Outdoor Championships

DES MOINES, Iowa — Three Pack sprinters competed in an NC State uniform at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, this weekend. The championships were highlighted by Gabriele Cunningham's 13.04 mark in the first round of the 100m hurdles to advance to the next round. That time stands as the fourth-fastest in program history.

Cunningham placed third in her respective heat in the first round of the 100m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 13.04 on Friday evening to place herself in Saturday's semifinals. She concluded her weekend with the No. 5 time in the NC State record books (13.32) on Saturday afternoon.
Quashawn Cunningham competed in the first round of the men's 200m dash on Saturday, clocking in at 21.32.
Teammate Cravont Charleston also competed at the championships. In the first round of the 100m dash, he ran a 10.51 on Thursday night.
