
Crosby Earns All-America Honors on Final Day at NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Texas – Nell Crosby concluded the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with All-America honors in the 3,000m steeplechase on Saturday evening.
Crosby's performance on the final day of competition marked NC State's third All-America citation of the championships (Cravont Charleston – 100m dash, Ian Shanklin – 5,000m). The performances mark the 10th-straight outdoor season with multiple All-America performers.
After crossing the finish line in 9:58.09 in the semifinal on Thursday night, setting the new school record, Crosby recorded a 10:35.47 mark on Saturday night. She placed 12th overall.
Crosby concludes her season finishing in the top 12 in every 3,000m steeplechase race during the 2019 campaign, including consecutive second-place finishes at the Virginia Challenge and the Penn Relays.
