Wolfpack Completes Day One at USATF U20 Outdoor Championships

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Freshman McKenzie Long of the NC State track and field team earned a place in the program record book on Saturday at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships by placing sixth in the 100m in a time of 11.48 seconds. This time ranks third in program history.

Long and teammates Timara Chapman and Jamar Davis continue the competition on Sunday at the Ansin Sports Complex. The top two participants in each event secure qualification to the 2019 Pan Am U20 Championships in Costa Rica on July 18-21.
