Wolfpack Trio Competes at USATF U20 Outdoor Championships this Weekend

USATF Event Information

RALEIGH – Timara Chapman, Jamar Davis, and McKenzie Long of the NC State track and field team are traveling south this weekend to compete in the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in Miramar, Florida.
Â
Events will take place between June 21-23 at the Ansin Sports Complex. The top two participants in each event secure qualification to the 2019 Pan Am U20 Championships in Costa Rica on July 18-21.

Chapman (First Team – Heptathlon) and Davis (Second Team – Triple Jump) earned All-ACC honors at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Charlottesville, Va., in May. Davis was a national qualifier during both the indoor and outdoor seasons and was also an Indoor All-American. Chapman was the Indoor ACC Freshman Field Performer of the Year and Long was an NCAA Regional qualifier earlier this season.
