Charleston, Crosby Named ACC Performers of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Cravont Charleston and Nell Crosby have been named ACC Men's Co-Track Performer of the Week and ACC Women's Track Performer of the Week, as announced on Wednesday by the conference office.
Charleston clocked a 10.17 in the men's 100m dash at the Tom Jones Memorial. That time stands as the fastest in the conference and as 13th-fastest in the nation.
The Charlotte, N.C., native also helped notch the Pack's quickest 4x100m relay time this season. The squad finished in 39.83 for fourth place. Charleston also finished fourth in the men's 200m dash, recording a time of 20.91.
Crosby's 10:04.39 mark in the women's 3000m steeplechase was good for a second-place finish at the Penn Relays. Her time stands at No. 2 in the ACC and at No. 9 in the nation, in addition to achieving the second-fastest time in program history.
NC State has now earned four ACC Performer of the Week honors this outdoor season. Gabriele Cunningham and Nevada Mareno have also earned the accolades.
