Five Named to All-ACC Academic Indoor Track & Field Teams

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five student-athletes from the NC State men's and women's track and field teams have been named to the 2019 All-ACC Academic Indoor Track & Field Teams, as announced by the conference office on Thursday. All of the honorees for the Pack were also All-ACC performers during the 2018-19 season.
2019 All-ACC Academic Men's Indoor Track & Field Team
Jamar Davis had a stellar freshman season, earning All-American honors in triple jump as the only freshman to compete in the event at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Setting two PRs at the 2019 ACC Indoor Championships, Davis earned silver-medal honors in long jump and triple jump to double up on first team all-conference honors.

Also claiming her first honor, Michelle Cobb impressed at the ACC Indoor Championships. Her personal-best performance at the championships was good for a spot on the second team of all-conference honorees.
Elly Henes rounds out the ACC All-Academic honors for the Pack, marking her fifth conference academic accolade in the track and field category. The junior placed second in the 5000m at the ACC Indoor Championships, placing herself on All-ACC First Team. Henes competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships, earning All-American honors in the 3000m and 5000m races.
