RALEIGH – No. 13 NC State baseball is set to travel to Notre Dame this weekend for a three-game series at Frank Eck Stadium. The teams will play at 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

All three games will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra and there will be a free audio stream on WKNC 88.1 FM.

The Wolfpack enters the weekend with a 32-10 overall record and 13-8 ledger in ACC play, while the Fighting Irish are 17-22 on the year and 10-11 against league opponents.

Last Time Out
NC State hosted Tennessee Tech on Tuesday evening in a midweek tilt, and thanks to Luca Tresh's three-run homer in the seventh inning along with insurance runs from Jonny Butler's two-RBI double in the eighth, the team overcame a late deficit to earn a 10-6 win.

It marked the 16th time this season that the Pack has fought back from a deficit at some point to win a game.

The Series
NC State and Notre Dame have met 17 times in the history of the programs, with the Pack leading the all-time series, 11-6. Fifteen of those meetings have been in conference play.

Last Time Versus Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish traveled to Raleigh on April 13-14, 2018, for a weekend series. Notre Dame won the first game, 12-8, but NC State responded by sweeping a Saturday doubleheader, 12-2 and 13-5, respectively, to clinch the series.

Last Time At Notre Dame
The last time NC State traveled to South Bend was on March 31-April 2, 2017, for a three-game set. The Pack lost the first two games to Notre Dame, 4-1 and 2-1, but salvaged the series with a 9-2 win in the finale.

Home Stand
After this weekend, NC State will have an eight-game home stand at Doak Field at Dail Park. The Pack will play host in midweek games to UNCW and Campbell, along with weekend series against Radford and Clemson.

Near Perfect Swiney
Sophomore Nick Swiney has been efficient in his most recent outings at UNCW (April 16), Wake Forest (April 20) and vs. Tennessee Tech (April 23), and has been mainstay of the Wolfpack's bullpen.

In his last three performances he has tossed a combined 9.0 innings, yielding just one hit and one walk while striking out 20 batters. Along with a 0.00 earned-run average, he collected wins at Wake Forest and vs. Tennessee Tech to improve to 4-0 on the year.

Late-Inning Heroics
NC State has provided several thrills for fans and spectators late in games this season. From the sixth inning to the end of games, the Wolfpack has outscored its opponents, 170-82.

The Pack has scored 53 runs in the sixth and 50 runs in the seventh innings of games, the most it has scored in any innings this year.
