Wolfpack Baseball to Participate in Atlantis Collegiate Baseball Series

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State baseball will head to the Caribbean for the second straight season, traveling to the Bahamas to participate in the Atlantis Collegiate Baseball Series, where it will take on Michigan in a four-game series March 5-7. The Wolfpack and Wolverines will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 6th.
Game times and streaming information will be announced at a later date.
"Bringing NCAA Division I baseball to the Bahamas last year was just the beginning," said Josh Franklin, Tournament Director for bdG Sports. "The response we saw from Penn State, Indiana State, and everyone who made the trip down told us there was a real appetite for this event to grow. Expanding to two weekends in 2027 lets us showcase four outstanding programs — Auburn, Penn State, NC State and Michigan — on one of the best stages in college baseball. It's a huge step for the series, for Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium and for baseball here in the Bahamas."
Last season the Pack traveled to Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Baseball Challenge. The Wolfpack won both games against Washington and Indiana State to open the season.
The state-of-the-art, 5,000-seat Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium opened in 2022 by playing host to the Caribbean Baseball Cup. The venue, which features a synthetic grass field, team locker rooms, and executive suites, is used by Bahamian youth and aspiring pros scattered around the Americas, highlighted by the occasional training appearance of current Bahamas star Jazz Chisolm of the New York Yankees.
