
Clyburn Collects Fourth-Straight Top-20 Finish, Ko Fires Career Low to Close Out #ACCWGolf Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C – Seniors India Clyburn and Naomi Ko went out in style on Saturday in the final round of the ACC Women's Golf Championship, as Clyburn collected her fourth-straight top-20 finish and Ko fired a career-low 69 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
The Wolfpack posted a three-over par 291 in the final round, its best score of the week, to finish with a three-round total of 902 (+38) in a two-way tie for ninth place out of 12 teams.
No. 8 Wake Forest captured the team title with a 14-under par 850, while No. 9 Florida State and No. 3 Duke rounded out the podium with scores of six-under 858 and four-over 868, respectively.
Clyburn shot a final round score of 73 (+1) to finish in a tie for 20th, as her showing marked the 18th top-20 finish of her career. She has played 113 career rounds and has moved into a tie for third in the program record books in the category.
Monika Hartl shot a five-over 77 to finish T26th, while Kowohl fired her best round of the tournament, a 72, to move up 11 spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for 36th.
Behind her career-low 69, Ko jumped 17 spots up the individual standings to a tie for 38th. Ko completed her 107th career round and has moved into fifth overall in the category at NC State.
Mim Sangkapong rounded out the Pack's scoring with a nine-over 81 to finish 58th out of 64 players.
NC State will now await its fate for an NCAA Regional bid. The selection show will be Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. on the Golf Channel.
