
Pack Completes First Two Rounds At #ACCWGolf Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the ACC Women's Golf Championship on Thursday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. The Wolfpack turned in rounds of 303 (+15) and 308 (+20) respectively, and is in 12th place with a combined 611 (+35).
No. 8 Wake Forest (567, -9), No. 9 Florida State (577, +1) and No. 17 Virginia (580, +4) round out the top three of the team standings.
Monika Hartl leads the Pack on the individual leaderboard as she sits in a tie for 22nd with a combined 148 (+4). She jumped 16 spots up the leaderboard after shooting rounds of 76 and 72, in respective order.
India Clyburn and Laura Kowohl turned in solid scores of 74 (+2) in the first round, but struggled in round two as Clyburn shot a four-over 76 and Kowohl carded a nine-over 81. Clyburn is in a tie for 34th and Kowohl is T47th out of 60.
Naomi Ko and Mim Sangkapong rounded out the lineup with 36-hole scores of 159 and 160, respectively, as Ko is T55th and Sangkapong stands alone in 57th place.
NC State will conclude play Saturday at the ACC Championship, as it will tee off hole 10 between 8:30 and 9:10 a.m. with Notre Dame and Clemson. Live coverage will be provided on the ACC Network Extra beginning at 1:30 p.m.
