RALEIGH, N.C. – After posting a perfect 4-0 week highlighted by its first-ever sweep against Miami, No. 1 NC State baseball will host the Elon Phoenix on Tuesday evening at Doak Field at Dail Park. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra, accessible through Watch ESPN and the Watch ESPN App. Radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM and on GoPack.com for premium subscribers with Andrew Sanders on the call.

NC State heads into the midweek matchup with a 23-1 overall record, while Elon has compiled a 13-11 clip in games this season.

Last Time Out
In its last outing, NC State rallied with four runs in the top of the ninth to stun Miami, 6-4, handing the Hurricanes their sixth consecutive loss. It was also the first time the Wolfpack has ever swept the 'Canes and the first series win in Coral Gables since 2007.

NC State and Elon have met 56 times in the history of the programs with the Wolfpack owning a 43-13 edge in the all-time series.

Last Time Versus Elon
NC State and Elon met earlier this season when the Wolfpack shut out the Phoenix on their home field, 5-0. Four different NC State pitchers combined for the shutout with Evan Justice earning the win after firing 2.1 scoreless innings in relief of Michael Bienlien.

Will Wilson gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead in the game with a solo homer in the top of the fifth and NC State added four runs late to pull away with the victory.

Last Time Versus Elon at Doak Field
Elon is making its first trip to Raleigh since 2015 when NC State rose above the Phoenix in a 14-0 shutout. The Wolfpack hit three home runs in that game, headlined by Joel McKeithan who hit his first career grand slam in that contest.
