RALEIGH, N.C. – The 10th-ranked NC State baseball team will make the short commute to Buies Creek Wednesday afternoon for a matchup with the Campbell Fighting Camels. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m. at Jim Perry Stadium.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, accessible through Watch ESPN and the Watch ESPN App. Radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM and on GoPack.com for premium subscribers.

NC State heads into the contest undefeated with a perfect 7-0 mark, while Campbell has compiled a 5-2 record in 2019.

Last Time Out
In its last outing, the Wolfpack overcame an early four-run deficit to defeat No. 19 Coastal Carolina in extra innings, 7-6. Trailing 6-2, NC State scored four runs in the fifth to knot the score at six and the game remained tied until Patrick Bailey hit a go-ahead home run in the 11th.

Campbell earned a 9-5 win against Georgetown in its most recent game on Sunday.

Campbell slipped past NC State in the last meeting between the programs, as the Camels hit a go-ahead homer in the top of the ninth to win the contest held at Doak Field at Dail Park, 5-4.

Brock Deatherage scored three runs the last time the two teams met in Buies Creek to lead NC State to a 4-1 win on March 7, 2018. For Campbell, junior right-handed pitcher Seth Johnson gets the baseball to make his second appearance and second start of the season. Last week, he started against ECU and threw four shutout innings with five strikeouts. He didn't get credited with the win, but the Camels went on to beat the Pirates, 7-6.

Following NC State's perfect 4-0 week, highlighted by a win against No. 19 Coastal Carolina, the Wolfpack has leaped 12 spots in the Collegiate Baseball Rankings from No. 22 to No. 10.
