Wolfpack Concludes Regular Season At #14 Louisville Thursday

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer (8-5-4, 3-2-4 ACC) will conclude its regular season slate Thursday when it travels to No. 14 Louisville (12-2-2, 5-2-2- ACC). Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Lynn Stadium in Louisville, Ky., and the match will be broadcast on Regional Sports Networks (check local listings).
SERIES HISTORY
Thursday will be the seventh meeting in program history between the Wolfpack and Cardinals, as Louisville owns a 3-2-1 advantage in the all-time series.
The last time the teams met was on Oct. 21, 2018, in Raleigh, and the Pack dropped a 2-1 decision.
The last time the teams played in Louisville was on Oct. 6, 2016, and the squads battled to a 1-1 (2OT) draw.
LAST TIME OUT
NC State picked up three more points in conference play on Sunday as it earned a dominant 3-0 win over Notre Dame in Raleigh, N.C.
Seniors Ricci Walkling and Tziarra King tallied two of the three goals in the Senior Day victory, while Jameese Joseph also tallied a goal.
Goalkeeper Jessica Berlin made a career high seven saves in the team's fifth shutout of the season.
The victory completed an undefeated record at home against conference opponents.

NC State owns a 5-1-3 record when scoring first in a game. Likewise, the team is 7-0-0 when tallying two or more goals in a single contest.
WALKLING NAMED TO TDS TEAM OF THE WEEK
Walkling was named to TopDrawerSoccer's Women's Team of the Week, as announced by the publication earlier this week. She played a large part in the Wolfpack picking up wins at home over Syracuse (3-2 OT) and Notre Dame (3-0) last week, tallying a pair of assists in the match vs. the Orange on Oct. 24, and scoring what proved to be the game-winning goal against the Fighting Irish on Oct. 27.
SCOUTING LOUISVILLE
The Cardinals are coming off of a 1-0 win at Miami on Sunday following a 3-0 loss at No. 1 Virginia last Thursday. Louisville currently sits in fourth place among the conference standings with 17 points.
Emina Ekic leads the squad with eight goals and seven assists for 23 points, while Delaney Snyder and Brooklyn Rivers have contributed four goals each to the team's 28. Gabby Kouzelos has played nearly every minute in goal for Louisville, as she owns a .64 goals-against average and has tallied eight shutouts this year.

NC State will find out its fate for the ACC Tournament. The first round of the tournament will be held Sun., Nov. 3 at various campus sites with the times to be determined.
