ACC Honor Roll (2018)
As a Senior (Spring 2021): Did not compete.
As a Junior (2019): Started 22 of 23 matches in goal, compiling a 0.95 goals-against average…Her GAA ranks the seventh-lowest in a single season in program history…Logged 1,982 minutes on the year and earned 5.5 shutouts…Accumulated a .759 save percentage with 66 saves…Made a career-high seven saves in the ACC Championship semifinal vs. North Carolina on Nov. 8.
As a Sophomore (2018): Did not compete.
As a Freshman (2017): Did not play an official match during the 2017 season.
Prior to NC State: Spent the last six years with Annandale United under coach Ann Germain, while training in goal with Llyod Yaxley and Edward Brown... Led the club to a Virginia State Cup Championship, and finished as a runner up in 2015. The club was also VYSA Region 1 Tournament finalists in 2015... Was part of the Virginia State Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 2012-15 and was selected for the Region 1 Inter-Regional Tournament Team in 2014-15... Played high school soccer with Lake Braddock Secondary School has been an all-conference selection since 2014.
Personal: In addition to soccer, she was an all-region performer in the shot put and discus in track and field... Was a member of National Honor Society and Student Government, and made the A Honor Roll all four years.
Santoro on Berlin: "Jess will help continue building our goalkeeping position and push the others for playing time. She's got a good frame for the position, has a solid aerial game and has great intelligence for the position with excellent communication skills."
