Three Pack Women's Tennis Members to Compete this Week

Alana Smith to Compete in Charleston, Adriana Reami and Anna Rogers to Compete in Los Angeles
Raleigh --Â Three Pack women's tennis members are participating in fall competition this week. Squad members are coming off a two-week break after competing at the USTA Bahamas Invitational. The Pack finished 25-14 in Albany, Bahamas, including three wins over ranked opponents.
Freshman Alana Smith will be playing at the Charleston ITF Futures event in Charleston, S.C. starting on Sunday. Smith kicked off her Wolfpack career with a 6-0 record at the USTA Bahamas Invitational, collecting three singles wins and three doubles wins.
Junior Adriana Reami and junior Anna Rogers will be traveling to Los Angeles to compete at the ITA All-American Championships. Adriana Reami is ranked No. 59 and Anna Rogers is ranked No. 66 in the Oracle/ITA Preseason Rankings.
The tournament runs from September 29-October 7. The tournament invites the nation's top Division I women's players to compete in the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships. Pre-qualifying matches will be contested at Pepperdine University, with Riviera Tennis Club holding qualifying and main draw matches. Pre-qualifying beings on September 29, 2018, with Qualifying singles and doubles set for October 2-3, and the main draw running from October 4-7.
Rogers picked up two wins against ranked opponents (No. 38 Eden Richardson, LSU; No. 64 Golovin, LSU) in the Bahamas. Reami added to that tally in Albany by defeating No. 64 Jessica Golovin of LSU.
