Eighth-Seeded Pack Set to Open NCAA Tournament Against Morgan State

RALEIGH, N.C. - Eighth-seeded NC State women's tennis will open play in the 2026 NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament on Friday, May 1, hosting Morgan State at 5 p.m. at J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. As a top 16 seed, the Wolfpack will host the opening two rounds for the 10th consecutive season. UCF and Navy will open the weekend with a 2 p.m. match, with the winners advancing to face each other in the second round on Saturday, May 2.
NC State enters the tournament aiming for its seventh straight Sweet 16 appearance and first trip to championship weekend since 2023. The Wolfpack comes in fresh off its 2026 ACC Championship.
