NC State Cheer Wins Two National Championships at NCA Collegiate Cheer Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – NC State won two national championships – the Small Coed Cheer Division IA and Game Day Division IA – Friday at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship.
This year marks the first time in program history NC State has captured multiple national championships in the same competition.
NC State has now won the Small Coed Division IA Championship six times in program history. The Pack also captured the national title in 1985, 1990, 1991, 2001 and 2016.
The Game Day national championship is the first for the program.
The Pack also advanced to the finals of the Team Performance Division IA and Mascot. Ms. Wuf finished in third in Mascot and NC State finished in fourth in team performance.
NC State is the only program at the competition to finish in the top-five of small coed, game day, team performance and mascot.
