NC State Contributes To Harris Teeter Million Meals Challenge

With the help of NC State students, fans, alumni and campus communities, Harris Teeter and the North Carolina Association of Feeding America Food Banks have announced a donation of more than $116,000 to the organization's Million Meals Challenge.

The Million Meals Challenge – a banner initiative in collaboration with Harris Teeter and the NC Association of Feeding America Food Banks – focused on generating year-long support from NC State and its in-state ACC rivals to help feed the hungry across the state of North Carolina.

The Wolfpack and its fellow ACC universities donated more than 647,000 meals to North Carolinians. The Company also hosted an in-store food drive at Harris Teeter stores immediately surrounding the participating universities, which collected over 1,700 pounds of food.
