Softball Welcomes Notre Dame For Weekend Series

RALEIGH – The NC State softball team will play its second conference series of the season this weekend when it hosts Notre Dame for three games at Dail Stadium. The teams will play a doubleheader at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday, and meet for the finale Sunday at 12 p.m. All three games will be streamed on the ACC Network Extra.
The Wolfpack enters the weekend with a 13-8 (1-2 ACC) record while the Fighting Irish are 12-7. This weekend will be Notre Dame's opening weekend of ACC play.
Last Time Out
NC State traveled to Gardner-Webb on Wednesday for a doubleheader. The Pack dropped a 6-5 decision in game one and run-ruled the Runnin' Bulldogs 10-0 in the nightcap.
The victory marked the team's fifth run-rule win and sixth shutout of the season, as Harli Hubbard threw her first career complete game shutout.
All-Time Series
Saturday will mark the 12th time the teams have met, as Notre Dame owns a 6-5 advantage in the all-time series. The teams met last year at Dail Stadium for a series and the Pack suffered a sweep.
