
Pack Returns to Action at Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's golf team is in action for a third consecutive week when it begins play at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on Sunday. The three-day, 54-hole event will be held at the Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.

The Pack finished in third place out of 14 teams at the Chris Schenkel Invitational. Stephen Franken led NC State, finishing in a tie for second place. The NC State junior shot a tournament-low 65 in the final round to move up seven spots on the individual leaderboard and the Pack jump two teams in the final round.
Fall Season RecapThe Pack participated in four events in the fall, winning two. NC State won the Golfweek Conference Challenge in September in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and captured the Wolfpack Intercollegiate held at Lonnie Poole Golf Club in early October. The two tournament victories in the fall marks the first time since the 2014-15 season the Pack has won multiple tournaments in a season. The last time NCState won three or more tournaments in a season was the 1995-96 season.
