KEY MATCHUPS
157: #2 Hayden Hidlay vs. #9 Larry Early
The two met in last year's dual, with Hidlay scoring a 13-5 major decision in his first signature win of the season. Hidlay was an NCAA Finalist a season ago, and is 4-0 this season. He went to Romania for the U23 World Championships a couple of weeks back, and has not seen collegiate action since the Hokie Open (Nov. 4). After transferring from Minnesota, Early was an NCAA Qualifier last season, went 2-2 at the NCAAs, and 29-12 overall. He is 10-0 this season, with tournament titles at both the Princeton Open and Navy Classic.

165: #19 Thomas Bullard vs. Seldon Wright
A pair of wrestlers battling for position in the rankings. Bullard is ranked #19 by InterMat and #20 by FloWrestling, while Wright is #19 by TrackWrestling. Bullard returns to the Pack's lineup after a redshirt season. He is 6-1 this season, with four pins taking the title at the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open. Wright is a two-time NCAA Qualifier, including last season at 174 pounds. He went 25-12 last season, 12-6 in duals.

LAST YEAR vs. OLD DOMINION
ODU won four of the first seven bouts, but NC State came away with back-to-back technical falls at 184 and 197 pounds and a major at heavyweight to close out the 25-15 home win.
