Wolfpack To Host ECU Thursday Evening

RALEIGH – Thursday evening will mark the first of a five-match home stand at Dail Soccer Stadium when the NC State women's soccer team (4-1-0) welcomes East Carolina (4-0-1).
Kickoff is set for 7:00 and the contest will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
LAST TIME OUT
The Wolfpack traveled to Elon on Monday and earned a 5-0 win. The team matched its season high of 18 shots, as five different players contributed goals in the contest and 21 members of the squad saw action on the field.
PRESSURING EARLY
NC State has succeeded in pressuring early in its matches, as the squad holds a 4-0 record when scoring first and a 2-0 ledger when scoring in the first 15 minutes.

SERIES HISTORY
Thursday will mark the seventh time the teams have met in program history, as the Pirates lead 3-2-1 in the all-time series. Last season NC State traveled to Greenville, N.C., on Sept. 8, and won 2-0.

Michelle Newhouse was named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday after not allowing a goal in last week's contests and making nine saves.
