With the win, NC State moves into the winner's bracket and will face 11th-ranked and No. 1 seed Kentucky at 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Junior Tommy DeJuneas picked up the win (4-0) on the mound for the Wolfpack with three innings of no-hit relief and senior Sean Adler earned his fourth save of the season. Indiana reliever Matt Lloyd was charged with the loss and falls to 3-2.
Despite a tough start from Johnny Piedmonte, Wolfpack relievers stepped up to the challenge and pitched 11.2 innings, allowing just three earned runs to go along with a season-high 17 strikeouts.

The Wolfpack struck first in the contest after an RBI triple to left field off the bat of Brad Debo to score Stephen Pitarra from first base to give NC State a 1-0 lead. Indiana pushed across three runs in the bottom of the first to grab a 3-1 lead.
NC State got a run back in the top of the second following back-to-back doubles from Will Wilson and Evan Mendoza. The Hoosiers extended the advantage to 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, but the Wolfpack answered with a pair of runs in the fourth to even the score.
Brett Kinneman led off the inning with a single to center field and Wilson smacked a two-run homer over the left field wall to knot the tally at 4-4. It was his eighth round-tripper of his freshman campaign.
The Pack's second home run of the day came at the perfect time, as Dunand launched his team-leading 17th homer to left field in the top of the eighth to level the score again, 5-5.

A wild pitch allowed Suggs to race home from third base to give NC State a 6-5 lead. Debo ripped an RBI single past the Indiana shortstop to extend the Wolfpack lead to 7-5, as Pitarra scored from second.
The Wolfpack's leadoff batter reached in 10 of 12 innings for NC State, while Pack pitchers limited the Hoosiers to a 3 of 12 clip.
NC State returns to action Saturday night at 7 p.m. when it takes on Kentucky in the winner's bracket.
