Wolfpack Sends Athletes to Winston-Salem, Boston to Open Indoor Season

NC State will be represented at the JDL College Kick-off Classic and the Boston University Season Opener on Saturday, Dec. 2.
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The NC State track & field program is set to open the 2017-18 indoor season this weekend as the Wolfpack will compete at two meets on Saturday, Dec. 2. A group of sprinters, jumpers and throwers will head to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the JDL College Kick-off Classic, while a trio of distance athletes will travel to Boston, Mass. for the BU Season Opener.

Fresh off cross country season, three of NC State's top distance athletes will compete in the women's 5K at the BU Season Opener. Dominique Clairmonte, Elly Henes and Beth Taye will make their season debuts Saturday at approximately 4:20 p.m.
UP NEXT
NC State will wrap up December competition next week at the Hoosier Open, hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. Assistant Coach Tom Wood will bring his top throwers to the meet, set for Friday, Dec. 8.
