NC State to Face High Point Thursday Night

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team (2-2-0) welcomes High Point (3-0-1) to Dail Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff Thursday night. The Wolfpack will look to stay hot after its four-goal performance on Sunday against Navy.
On the Prowl:
The NC State offense is on form early in the season and has scored 10 goals on 10 assists just four matches in. The offensive displays have helped the team move up in the ACC and NCAA statistical rankings. Nationally, The Pack is ranked No. 36 in scoring offense and No. 30 in goals per game. The team has cracked into the top-25 in total assists (17th), total points (20th) and total goals (21st). In the ACC, NC State is ranked sixth in goals and fourth in assists.

In total, 10 athletes have already recorded a goal or an assist. Jackie Stengel is the team's leading point and goal scorer after netting a hat trick against La Salle and adding an assist against Navy. Rachel Cox and Tziarra King have both scored two goals, while Ricarda Walkling has scored a goal and dished out three assists.
Youth Movement:
The freshmen class has immediately contributed to the team's success this season. Six from the class have started, and six have recorded either a goal or assist, while 10 freshmen have earned playing time.

For the first time in the Panther's program history, the team is ranked in the NSCAA regional rankings.
