2. Joe Dunand earned a spot on the Brooks Wallace Award watch list, released Thursday. Two-time finalist Trea Turner won the award in 2014, marking the first Wolfpack player to do so. Andrew Knizner joined the Johnny Bench Award watch list, recognizing the top catcher in the country.
3. Chance Shepard enjoyed his first career multi-homer game in the Pack's 23-3 road thrashing of Elon. Since then, the eldest Shepard brother has four bombs in his last five games, 11 for the season. Ryan Mathews hit 17 in 2012, the last Wolfpack batter with more.
