Junior recorded four stolen bases in the contest to break the program record
Â
NC State moves to 7-8 on the year, while Charlotte falls to 12-3. Ross eclipsed the previous mark of three with her fourth stolen base in the bottom of the sixth. She stole second base three times and also swiped third base once.
Â
It was the most stolen bases in a game by any individual in the ACC this season.

Rychcik's Review
Opening statement…
"It was a good team win," said head coach Shawn Rychcik. "We used everybody on the bench and all three pitchers threw, which was the plan and we got some good contributions throughout the lineup.
Â
"We got down three runs and answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning to get us back in the game. They're a real good team, so I'm really happy with the win and now we can get ready for Virginia Tech."

- Charlotte countered with two runs in the third thanks to a pair of fielder's choices to knot the game, 2-2.
- The 49ers added to their total in the fifth with three runs to grab a 5-2 lead. Grace Beatty hit a 3-run homer after a pair of singles earlier in the frame to give her team the edge.
