RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State track and field team will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the Carolina Relays Friday and Saturday. The Pack recently wrapped up indoor season with top-20 NCAA finishes. The team will make its outdoor debuts with representation from most of its event groups.
The meet marks the first time the Pack will have a chance to earn ACC Outdoor and NCAA East Preliminary qualifying marks.
Quick Transition:
Just a week after finishing with All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Joshua Davis and Nicole Chavis are back in action. Both will compete in the discus, while Davis will throw the hammer and Chavis the shot put.
Season Debuts:
Both Isabella Smith and Bethany Neeley will make their 2016 debuts in uniform for the Pack. Smith will compete in the 800m and Neeley will run in the 2,000m steeplechase. Neeley ran unthatched during the indoor season.
