From The Coach's Perspective
"We're beyond excited for the opportunity to compete at 'home' this weekend, and are elated to see our fans and compete on our own equipment which will give us that comfort that we haven't had all season," said associate head coach Colleen Johnson. "As a team we're looking to just continue to improve our score each meet which we have done a tremendous job of all season. We have a number of wins under our belt which gives us a boost of confidence heading into our home meet.
On senior night
"It will be senior day, and will be an emotional moment for the four of them as well as the coaching staff. Those four girls have made a huge impact on our program on the floor and outside of competition.Â
"Brittni (Watkins) has put up multiple high scores and quality routines for us. Michaela (Woodford) has had an extensive number of consistent and quality performances that are irreplaceable. Courtney (Turner) is an extremely hard worker and great student with a charismatic personality. Aubrey (Hine) has such a dynamic personality and is one of the most gorgeous beam performers we've seen.
"All four of them have an extremely special place with the team and staff, and we're so happy we can host a home meet to show them how much of an impact they've made on our program."
