12/9/2016 1:29:00 PM | Men's Basketball
NC State will play in its former home, Reynolds Coliseum, for the first time since December 2014
The NC State men's basketball team returns to its former home, Reynolds Coliseum, on Saturday afternoon to host Tennessee State. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.Â
Â
Reynolds Coliseum was the home of Wolfpack basketball from 1949-1999. The team has played 15 games in Reynolds Coliseum since moving to PNC Arena for the start of the 1999-2000 basketball season. Last year, the Pack did not play in Reynolds as it was undergoing a renovation. The renovations included the basketball court being shifted to the south end, seats arranged closer to the playing surface and air conditioning was added to the building. The renovations included a Grand Hallway on the north end of the building to house the NC State Athletic Hall of Fame.
Â
The game will be shown on Raycom Sports Networks with Bob Rathbun (play-by-play) and Mike Gminski (analyst) on the call. The following stations will televise the game:Â FOX Sports South/FOX Sports Carolina, FOX Sports Sun, FOX Sports Midwest Plus/FOX Sports Indiana Plus, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, YES, NESN, ROOT Sports Pittsburgh, SportsTime Ohio, FOX Sports Detroit, FOX Sports North, FOX Sports Wisconsin, FOX Sports Southwest Plus, FOX Sports Arizona, FOX Sports San Diego, FOX Sports Prime Ticket, ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain and ROOT Sports Northwest

Pack Tracks
- NC State held off Boston University, 77-73, last Saturday to improve to 6-2 on the season and 4-0 at home. Sophomore Torin Dorn recorded his second double-double of the season with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while senior Terry Henderson led the Pack with a game-high 23 points.
- With the potential return of sophomore Maverick Rowan to the lineup, Saturday marks the closest the Pack has been to full strength all season. Freshman Ted Kapita missed the season-opener and the Pack's three games at the Paradise Jam, Rowan has missed the seven games since the season-opener and freshman Omer Yurtseven has had to sit out the first nine games of the season before becoming eligible for the Dec. 15 game vs. Appalachian State. Only Yurtseven is expected to not be in uniform for the TSU game.Â
- The Pack is the only team in the ACC to have three players rank in the top-12 in scoring. Freshman Dennis Smith, Jr. (18.3), Dorn (17.9) and Henderson (16.8) combine to form the ACC's second-highest scoring trio at 53.0 points per game. (1st-Pitt's Young-Artis-Jones-53.7) Â
-Â NC State has relied heavily on Henderson, Smith and Dorn this season. The trio ranks tied for 3rd and 6th on the ACC's minutes player per game list. The Pack is the only ACC team to have three players in the top-10 in minutes played. All three average to play over 35 minutes a game.

Â
NC State vs. Tennessee State Series                  Â

Â
Balanced Scoring Attack                                   Â
NC State had five players reach double figures in scoring in its two opening games this season. Last season in 33 games, NC State only had three games where five players reachedÂ
double figures in scoring. The Pack has had four different players lead the team in scoring this season: Terry Henderson vs. Georgia Southern, Creighton and Boston University, TorinÂ
Dorn vs. St. Francis and Illinois, Abdul-Malik Abu vs. Montana and Dennis Smith, Jr., vs. Saint Joseph's and Loyola (Chicago). Through eight games this season, the Pack has five players averaging in double figures.
Â
Getting Their First Run with the Pack                          Â
Counting Terry Henderson (who only played the first six minutes of the season last year before being injured and lost for the year), 75.4% of the minutes (1207 of 1600 minutes) played for NC State this season have been by players that did not play for the Wolfpack last season. NC State will eventually add another newcomer to its lineup when five-star recruit Omer Yurtseven becomes eligible to play.
