ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – The NC State women's basketball team (5-2) led for nearly 31 minutes and held a 50-39 advantage entering the fourth quarter, but was undone by a late scoring drought and a game-winning three-pointer in the waning seconds of a 59-58 loss to LSU to end the 2016 Basketball Travelers' Paradise Jam Saturday afternoon inside the UVI Sport & Fitness Center.

Quote from the Wolfpack
Head Coach Wes Moore in his postgame radio interview with Patrick Kinas: "We just struggled to score (in the fourth quarter) and made some bad decisions, and that includes me. We should have had four guards in there on the last possession and that's a mistake by me. I've got to take that one. Our team gave a great effort, but we are still, as a team, making some bad decisions. Fouling too far away; taking a quick jump shot with a lot of time left on the shot clock, but again, we struggled to score down the stretch and I've got to find a way to help the team in that situation. It's heartbreaking and definitely takes the wind out of your sails a little bit."
NC State returns to action in Raleigh on Thursday, Dec. 1. The Wolfpack will open up a four game home stand that evening against Indiana in the 2016 ACC/B1G Challenge. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. from Reynolds Coliseum.
