Audrey Ericksen Joins NC State Women’s Basketball

RALEIGH – Cary, North Carolina native Audrey Ericksen will finish her collegiate career back at home, as she has joined the NC State women's basketball team. Ericksen is transferring to NC State after three years at Boston University.
Ericksen joins NC State as a walk-on and rising senior. The 6-0 guard will bring leadership and collegiate playing experience, serving as the BU women's basketball team captain during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
In three seasons at BU, Ericksen started in 85 of 93 career games, including in all 32 as a freshman. She has averaged 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in her career with 15 double digit scoring contests. Ericksen has also logged a .319 3-point field goal percentage and .855 free throw percentage across her three-year career.
Ericksen's best season came as a sophomore, in which she averaged 5.7 points per game and ranked second on the team with a career-high 36 3-pointers. She also set career-high marks in field goal percentage (.397) and 3-point percentage (.350). Ericksen tallied a career-high 20 points behind 7-of-8 shooting from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from beyond the arc against Rider. She followed that up with 12 points at La Moyne.
In her freshman season, Ericksen was the only Terrier to start in all 32 games, averaging 5.6 points per game across 29.3 minutes per contest. She registered a season-high 17 points, including the game-winning basket in BU's 80-77 win over Harvard and pulled down a career-high eight rebounds against American. She was tabbed the CAA Rookie of the Week after tallying 17 points off 5-of-7 from the field in the team's win against Colgate after registering 11 points and six boards at Bucknell.
Ericksen enjoyed a stellar career at Green Level High School, becoming the all-time leader in total points (1,086), rebounds (727), assists (250), steals (166) and blocks (144). She was a two-time captain and earned two-time SWAC First Team All-Conference honors, as well as NCBCA All-District Second Team and HighSchoolOT Third Team All-State recognition as a senior. Ericksen averaged 14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in her final season. She played AAU ball with the NC Attack U17 squad.
Ericksen joins an incoming class that features two 2026 SportsCenter NEXT Top 100 signees Kamora Pruitt and Annsley Trivette, as well as Auburn transfer Khady Leye and Colorado transfer Desiree Wooten.
