Quotes from the Wolfpack
Head coach Wes Moore's opening statement: "I'm really proud of our kids for a few reasons. First of all, the LSU game was a tough, heartbreaking loss. We gave up a pretty good lead. Tonight, Indiana made a good run and it would have been real easy for our girls to think 'here we go again,' but instead they held it together and showed a lot of character."
Miah Spencer on Indiana's comeback: "I feel like we relaxed a little too much and got too comfortable with the lead. They were getting to the basket too easily, making open shots, and rebounding. They were basically out-hustling us. When he (Coach Moore) called a timeout, we were telling each other that we can't let this game slip away like we just let a previous one slip away. We came out and were feeding Chelsea. She was making easy layups, getting fouled, and going to the free throw line and rebounding, so that really helped our confidence when she was doing those things."
NC State returns to action at home on Sunday, Dec. 4 against North Florida. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Ospreys is scheduled for 2 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum. The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.
