Wolfpack Hosts Ranked Hokies Thursday Evening

RALEIGH – Returning home for the first of three straight matches at the friendly confines of Dail Soccer Field, the NC State women's soccer team hosts No. 10 Virginia Tech Thursday evening in its second Atlantic Coast Conference match of the season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The match will be broadcast live on ESPN3. Free pizza will be given to fans in attendance while supplies last.

A WIN ON THURSDAY WOULD...

SERIES HISTORY
-Thursday's match marks the 13th meeting between NC State and Virginia Tech.
-The Wolfpack trails the series 4-8-0.
-NC State and Virginia Tech last met on Sept. 26 of the 2013 season. The Hokies won 4-1 in Raleigh. Jackie Stengel scored for the Pack during the match.
-The Wolfpack last defeated Virginia Tech on Oct. 8, 2006 (2-1 in Blacksburg).

NC State's next three matches are at home. Following Thursday's contest against No. 10 Virginia Tech, the Wolfpack will host Boston College on Sept. 27 and No. 1 Virginia on Oct. 2.
