
Wolfpack Plays Landfall Tradition In Wilmington This Weekend

The NC State women's golf team, ranked 26th in the most recent GolfWeek rankings, will be on the North Carolina coast this weekend playing in the Landfall Tradition at Wilmington's Country Club of Landfall. The 18-team event, which features nine of the nation's top 40 teams, runs Oct. 23-25.Â
This weekend in Wilmington will be the Pack's fourth and final event before the winter. NC State is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill. The Pack was led by India Clyburn (+2), who tied for seventh in the 96-player event. Clyburn has led the Wolfpack in scoring at each of the last two events.
Rachael Taylor returns to the lineup after playing for Team Scotland in the Spirit International in Texas. This will be her second outing of the fall, as she also played in the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegeiate in Knoxville in September. Taylor is the only senior on the roster. NC State is starting three freshman this weekend at Landfall. Â
Following the winter break, NC State will be back in action Feb. 14-16 at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.Â
