Men's Golf Finishes 2nd at River Landing Intercollegiate

Three NC State men's golfers finished under-par, as the Wolfpack finished in a second place tie at the ECU/UNCW River Landing Intercollegiate played at River Landing Country Club in Wallace, N.C. NC State finished the three-round event at 9-under 855, tied with Duke.
Liberty took home the team title at 18-under 846.
Sophomore All-American Albin Choi had the Pack's top finish. He finished in a fifth place tie at 5-under 211, three strokes out of first. He fired a final round 2-under 70.
Seniors Chad Day and Mark McMillan both tied for 13th, finishing at 1-under 215. In today's final round, McMillen shot a 1-under 71, while Day carded an even-par 72.
Junior All-American Mitchell Sutton brought home a 25th place showing at 1-over 217, while senior Graham Baillargeon topped off the team scoring at 7-over 223.
Sophomore James Chapman and senior Hunter Howell both played as individuals. Chapman finished 35th at 4-over 220, while Howell was 53rd at 9-over 225.
Duke’s Brinson Paolini claimed individual medalist honors, winning by one stroke at 8-under 208.
The Pack will return to action next weekend, hosting the Wolfpack Spring Open at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
