Pack Finishes in 11th Place at ACC Championship

PANAMA CITY Fla. – The NC State men's golf team finished in 11th place at the ACC Championship held at Shark's Tooth Golf Club.
Evan Woosley-Reed and Markus Varjun led the Pack with each finishing in a tie for 22nd place at two-over par for the tournament.
Pearce Lewin was next for the Pack with a 33rd place finish at four-over par while Rylan Shim tied for 41st place at six-over par.
Xander Goboy rounded out the NC State lineup in a tie for 62nd place. Goboy was the Pack's top performer through the first two rounds as he was in 10th place at even-par after Friday, but struggled in the final round on Saturday.
The top eight teams in stroke play advanced to Sunday's match play. The Pack finishes just four shots out of advancing to match play.
California's Ziqin Zhou captured the ACC Individual title after winning a three-person playoff with Stanford's Edan Cui and Duke's Ethan Evans.
The Pack now turns its attention to Wednesday, May 6 when the NCAA Selection Show will reveal the six regional fields for the 2026 NCAA Championship. The selection show will start at 2 p.m. and will be televised on the Golf Channel.
