Colley Finishes 42nd In Junior World Championships

Redshirt-freshman Andrew Colley finished 42nd in the junior race at the IAAF Cross Country World Championships at Bydgoszcz, Poland, on Sunday. Colley ran the 8k course in a time of 24:10 and helped the United States team to an eighth-place finish. Colley was the second team finisher for the U.S. team.
Meanwhile, former Wolfpack All-American and current staff graduate assistant Bobby Mack ran in the senior race and finished 67th overall, running the 12k course in a time of 35:36, helping the U.S. team to a ninth-place finish. Mack was the No. 5 finisher for the U.S. team.
Colley and Mack are the 11th and 12th members or former members of the NC State men's cross country program and the 23rd and 24th of the men's and women's programs combined. Current team members Bona Jones (2007), Bobby Moldovan (2008), Ryan Hill (2009) and Emily Pritt (2009) also have raced in the IAAF Cross Country World Championships.
