Paige Woodard Hollis has been selected as a graduate manager for the 2017-18 women's basketball season, Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year Wes Moore announced on June 29. This marks the second time Woodard Hollis will be a graduate manager for the Wolfpack, as she also held the role during the 2012-13 season.
"It is unique for a graduate manager to have as much experience as she does," Moore said. "She has been around the game all her life, serving as a graduate manager here previously and then as a head high school coach for a few years. It is almost like having another coach on the staff. I feel very fortunate to have Paige returning to NC State."
Woodard Hollis played for NC State during the 2010-11 and 2011-2012 seasons. She appeared in a total of 14 games throughout her career, making one start. She also balanced two other sports, cross-country and track & field, earning the NC State Loyalty award in 2011. Woodard Hollis finished her college career with a 4.0 GPA in General Education and a minor in Coaching.
"It's great (to be back). I loved my time here as a student-athlete and as a graduate manager for (former NC State coach) Kellie Harper," Woodard Hollis said. "I have really enjoyed watching Coach Moore and his staff and the work they have put into the women's basketball program here. I'm excited to be a part of it."
Following her season as an NC State women's basketball graduate manager in 2012-13, Woodard Hollis pursued a coaching career as a head coach at North Raleigh Christian Academy until 2015. In 2015, she became the JV girls' basketball coach, assistant varsity coach, and varsity softball coach at Northside High School.
