Maddie Cox Named to ACC All-Academic Team

RALEIGH – For the third straight year, NC State women's basketball student-athlete Maddie Cox has been named to the ACC All-Academic Team, as announced Tuesday. Cox is one of 46 in the league to earn this honor and one of 10 three-time selections.
Cox is majoring in business administration and holds an impressive 3.7 GPA. She was one of three Wolfpack student-athletes to be awarded with PNC Achievers Program Spring honors. The Flower Mound, Texas native has been tabbed to the Dean's List and has been named an NC State scholar-athlete all five semesters of college. She is a two-time ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient as well.
On the court, Cox played in all 32 games with three starts this season. She has played in 98 games across her Wolfpack career. Cox logged a career-high 11 points against Coastal Carolina and 12 rebounds vs. Seton Hall. She finished the year shooting 36.1 percent (13-36) from the 3-point line. Cox will enter her fourth season with the Wolfpack in 2026-27, repping the red and white all four years of college.
Tilda Trygger and Zamareya Jones were also named to the ACC All-Academic Team.
