• Won the Maryland state 4A cross country championship as a junior and senior
• Three-time all-metro in track and field by The Washington Post
• Maryland 4A/3A state champion in the 3200 indoors as a junior and senior, and the 1600 as a senior
• Member of 4x800 relay team that won the 2007 Penn Relays
• Was a member of national outdoor record-holding team in the spring medley relay
• SMR team also won two Nike outdoor national championships and three Nike indoor national titles
