• Won the season-opening adidas Cross Country Invitational while competing unattached, running the 5k course in a time of 17:12.0
• Finished 40th at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 24, running the 6k course in 21:38.9
• Was the Wolfpack's lead runner in a loaded field Oct. 14 at the Wisconsin adidas Open, finishing 34th in a time of 20:48.7
• Finished eighth at the ACC Championships on Oct. 29 at the Musser Fruit Research Center at Clemson, S.C., running the 6k course in a time of 20:37.7, earning All-ACC honors for the second consecutive year
• Earned all-regional honors for the second year in a row by taking seventh place at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, Ky., completing the 6k course in 20:30.2
• Paced the Wolfpack with a 63rd-place finish at the NCAA Championships, running the 6k course in 20:44.2

• Placed 38th at the Roy Griak Invitational, covering the 6k course in a time of 21:56
• Was NC State's No. 2 runner for the final three races of the season
• Placed 37th at NCAA Pre-Nationals in a time of 21:08
• Earned All-ACC and All-NCAA Regional honors, finishing 11th and ninth, respectively
• Finished 52nd at the NCAA Championship 21:01.7, and was just eight seconds off All-America pace.
2009
• Ran unattached at the Wolfpack Invite and the Great American, taking 13th place at the Great American in a time of 18:34
• Finished 29th at the NCAA Southeast Regional in a time of 21:31.67, less than six seconds short of all-regional status
2008
• Was in the starting lineup for all six races
• Took fifth place at the Wolfpack Invitational
• Ran seventh at the Pirate Invitational
Prep
• A four-time all-state performer in cross country and a multiple state champion in track and field
• Finished second in the North Carolina 4-A Cross Country Championships as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior to earn all-state honors each year
• Won state championships in track and field in the 3200 outdoor as a junior, and the 3200 and 1600 indoors as a senior
• Also played for Apex's state 4-A championship soccer team in 2007
