Women’s Basketball’s Opponents Announced for 2026 Fort Myers Tipoff

FORT MYERS, Fla. – NC State women's basketball's opponents for the fifth annual Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tipoff have been announced. NC State will play Kansas State and LSU in the Island Division of the tournament that will take place from Friday, Nov. 27 to Saturday, Nov. 28.
The tournament will take place at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. Game dates and tipoff times will be announced in the coming weeks.
Event ticket packages will become available on Wednesday, May 20 and will include tickets to all games of the Island Division, hotel accommodations at a host hotel and parking at the venue. ION will be the tournament's broadcast partner with every game viewable nationwide. ION is available in every U.S. televised household via pay TV, connected TV, free ad-supported streaming platforms and over-the-air.
The Wolfpack is set to play LSU for the sixth time of the all-time series and third time in the last three seasons. NC State trails 4-1 in the series with its win coming in 2013 with an 89-79 feat at home. The last time NC State played LSU, the Wolfpack fell 80-73 in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. NC State and LSU will play on a neutral court for the fourth time.
NC State will also play Kansas State for the sixth time in the all-time series, leading the Wildcats 4-1. The last time these two squads faced off, NC State won 89-57 at home in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 in 2022. This will mark the fifth time of the six games in the all-time series NC State will play the Wildcats on a neutral court.
The remainder of the non-conference schedule will be released at a later date.
