NC State Faces Middle Tennessee in First Round of NCAAs

RALEIGH – 30th-ranked NC State men's tennis is set to compete in the Athens region to start the 2026 NCAA Championship. The team will play Middle Tennessee at 1 p.m. on Friday, and a win will advance them to the second round on Saturday at 4 p.m.
First Round Dual-Match Info (Middle Tennessee)
• The match will be played at the Dan Magill Tennis Center in Athens, Ga.
• Start time for the match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1st.
• Tickets to attend the match must be purchased online here, or in person for $5. All fan seating is general admission.
• Fans at home will be able to follow along with live scores and streaming here.

The Wolfpack fell short in the second round of the 2026 ACC Championship in Cary after earning a first round bye. Coming down to a third set on court six, NC State was unable to come out on top of Florida State.

Team Highlights
• The squad began the 2026 season with its second-highest preseason team ranking in program history at No. 9. The Wolfpack's highest preseason ranking was at No. 8 to start the 2021 season.
• The team holds one top-25 win with a victory over 15th-ranked Notre Dame back in March.
• Finishing 8-5 in conference action, the team was granted a first round bye at the ACC Championship.
Individual Highlights
• The Wolfpack currently has three ranked singles players (No. 30 Martin Borisiouk, No. 110 William Manning, and No. 118 Jules Leroux), and one ranked doubles pairing (No. 18 Martin Borisiouk and Jules Leroux).
• Martin Borisiouk earned a spot on the All-ACC Singles Second Team, marking his second career All-ACC honors
• Martin Borisiouk and Jules Leroux earned a spot on the All-ACC Doubles Second Team, marking Leroux's first-ever All-ACC honors
