Top-Ranked Duke Downs Pack

RALEIGH, N.C. –- Top-ranked Duke (28-2, 16-1 ACC) defeated NC State (19-11, 10-7 ACC), 93-64, Monday night inside a sold out Lenovo Center.
Darrion Williams led NC State with 17 points and Quadir Copeland added 11 points and a team-high five assists as they were the only two players to reach double figures.
Musa Sagnia led the Pack with eight rebounds – including six offensive – to tie his season-high against an ACC team.
Matt Able and Paul McNeill, Jr., each finished with nine points.
NC State shot 35.4 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from three-point range in the loss. The Pack made four of its first seven three point attempts in the first seven minutes of the game, but shot just 3-of-22 from deep the rest of the game.
Duke shot 55.2 percent from the field and added 11 three-pointers, shooting 39.3 percent from long range.
The game was tied at 18, nine minutes into the contest and Duke's lead was still just five, 29-24, with 5:26 left in the first half, but the Blue Devils closed the first half on an 18-6 run to take a 47-30 lead into the locker room.
Duke continued its run to start the second half, opening the final period on a 15-5 run to close the door on any possible NC State comeback.
Duke was led by Cameron Boozer who had 26 points on 8-of-10 shooting and 9-of-11 from the foul line. Dame Sarr added 16 points and Isaiah Evans finished with 12.
NC State closes the regular season Saturday afternoon when it hosts Stanford (18-11, 7-9 ACC) inside the Lenovo Center. Tipoff against the Cardinal is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on The CW.
