Pack Continues Homestand with Wolfpack Classic

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State softball team will continue its 21-game homestand as it hosts The Wolfpack Classic featuring Toledo, Lehigh, and Loyola-Chicago.Â
The Pack will open play at 3:30pm on Friday against Toledo before taking on Lehigh at 6pm. Both games, in addition to the Pack's other three games throughout the weekend, will be streamed on ACCNX.Â
Fans attending games on Friday before 5pm will need to utilize the virtual parking permit linked above. Admission to all games throughout the weekend is free.Â
The Series History Each Opponent

The Series History Each Opponent
- Toledo: Friday marks just the third meeting between the two programs and first in 14 years (2012). The Pack has won the previous meetings, both having occurred in Raleigh.
- Lehigh: The two programs will meet for a seventh time on Friday. NC State leads the series, 5-1, with the Mountain Hawks only win coming in 2017.
- Loyola: Saturday marks just the third meeting for the programs. The series is split, 1-1, with the split occurring when the Ramblers visited Raleigh in 2016 for the Double Tree RDU Challenge.

- The Pack will begin a 21-game homestand on Feb. 17 against Queens, marking the longest in program history.
- The last time the Wolfpack played close to that many consecutive games at home was in 2020, when the Pack started a 20-game homestand in the second week of the season that concluded March 10 after the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
- Redshirt-junior Wynne Gore had an outstanding week in the circle, picking up two wins in two complete games and four appearances. She gave up no earned runs gave up only one extra base hit and walked just three batters in 17.1 innings of work.
- In the win over Illinois on 2/22, she struckout a season high five batters, falling just one short of tying her career high.
- She leads the pitching staff with a 1.85 era and ties freshman Morgen Talley with a 3-1 record in the circle.
- Her 1.85 ERA ranks 11th in the conference.
- Freshman Lily Livingston has made a name for herself as one of the best hitters in the Pack's lineup. She had homers in back-to-back plate appearances against Providence on 2/20. 24 hours later? She tied the single game program record for most doubles in a game (3) against the same team - a record that only had one person accomplish it in the last 21 years.
- The Arab, Alabama native finished the week (2/17 to 2/22) with an elite slugging percentage of 1.118.
- In addition to her offensive power, she had a team best seven assists against Akron on 2/20.
