#11 NC State Begins Week with 6-1 Win Over NC Central

RALEIGH – 11th-ranked NC State men's tennis earns its way back into the win column after defeating NC Central 6-1 at home on Monday.

The Wolfpack improves to 5-1 in non-conference action, playing all matches at home so far this season. The squad also continues its doubles point streak to six, claiming all first points of each match played this year.

NC State moves its all-time series record against NC Central to 9-0.

Martin Borisiouk and Jules Leroux teamed up for the first time this season to lead the doubles charge on court number one, resulting in the clinch of the point for the red-and-white.

Three freshmen for the Pack helped propel the team to the win, with singles wins by Charlie Camus, Darius Pop, and Ainius Sabaliauskas.

The only point given up to the Eagles was by retirement on court five.

The Pack splits the upcoming weekend, hosting Princeton at home this Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a trip to Harvard on Sunday at noon.
